ESG Manager
Development – Implementation – Reporting
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in developing the sustainability agenda of one of Europe’s leading furniture manufacturers? We are currently seeking an ESG Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing systems and procedures that enhance the group’s performance in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects.
You will play a key role in shaping our sustainable future and ensuring that our operations align with both our own values and the expectations of our stakeholders. This position reports to the Head of Strategy & Sustainability and is based in Oslo or Sykkylven.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a clear sustainability strategy, setting ambitious goals, initiatives, and establish governance that enables the company’s aspirations.
- Monitor and report on the company’s ESG performance, including key metrics and KPIs in accordance with frameworks like CSRD and the EU taxonomy.
- Conduct risk assessments and continuously report deviations and opportunities for improvement within ESG to management.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote and report on our ESG initiatives.
- Coordinate ESG reporting processes to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Qualifications:
- Higher education in economics/finance or sustainability.
- Experience in consulting is preferred.
- Experience with sustainability reporting and ESG management, and understanding of relevant principles, frameworks, and reporting standards (e.g., CSRD, GRI, SASB).
- Strong analytical abilities and project management experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Certifications in sustainability or ESG are an advantage but not a requirement.
