We are looking for a creative and highly motivated Visual Communication Designer passionate about creating compelling designs and campaigns that make a lasting impact. 

Join us to shape and elevate a brand world known for comfort, design, and long-lasting quality. Working closely with our global marketing team you will focus on enhancing the brand´s visual identity, creating engaging content and campaigns experience across all consumer facing channels, that significantly enhance the brand's digital presence and brand experience. 

Your role primarily involves working with the Stressless® brand but you will also be responsible for the visual identity of the Svane® brand. This position reports to the Global Brand Director and is a part of the Central Marketing Team carrying global responsibilities.

 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage and maintain the visual identity of the brand across all platforms and touchpoints, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy.
  • Develop and enforce unified design guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the global marketing team to implement the brand´s visual identity. 
  • Monitor and adapt the brand's digital visual identity to keep pace with evolving digital trends and technologies, ensuring that the brand remains relevant and impactful.
  • Create visually appealing and effective digital assets such as website designs, social media graphics, digital advertisements, e-newsletter and other digital campaign elements.
  • Utilize expertise in digital design tools and techniques, ensuring that digital assets are optimized for various platforms and devices and resonate with the target audience. 
 
 
The ideal candidate has experience in a senior role within a B2C environment, with a proven track record of successfully shaping and enhancing brand visual identities, delivering campaigns, and creating engaging content. You should have advanced proficiency in design tools, proven experience in managing the creation and production of digital and traditional assets across various channels, and strong knowledge of interface with live content. 

We are looking for a candidate with an academic degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, who is also fluent in English, both written and verbal. The candidate must have advanced proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Express) or other relevant software.
We also value international work experience and the ability to collaborate effectively across different languages, cultures, and professional fields.
 
The position is based at Ekornes offices in Sykkylven, Oslo or London. Frequent travel to Sykkylven is required if located in Oslo/London.

The HQ is located in the beautiful Sykkylvsfjord, surrounded by mountains and in proximity of the city Ålesund, many commutes from Ålesund on a daily basis. 

The region is famous for its opportunity to enjoy any outdoor sports and activities with snowy winters and west coast summers. Ålesund offers an international music scene, a varied cultural scene, restaurants, bars, clubs, stores and more.
